About Me

You may be wondering: Who is this guy?

I live in Great Falls, MA and make folky, finger-picking songs about life and death and the stuff we leave behind.

I grew up on the South Shore of Massachusetts "roaming through bogs and backroads," ran around Boston for a decade, and have settled with my wife and son in an old yellow house.

I picked up a guitar at 29 and started writing songs about growing up in the northeast because that era, the landscapes and memories of the people who shaped me, were feeling more distant than ever when I needed them most. Music is a way to remember them and carry them forward.

The main musical influences for the debut album, "Hand-me-down Dream," are Blaze Foley, Johnny Cash, and Bruce Springsteen's "Nebraska."
